About Us

Östra närvården includes the healthcare centers, youth clinics, and wound centers of Region Blekinge.

Residents of Blekinge who fall ill turn directly to the healthcare centers and gain access to health and medical care that does not require hospital resources. Care is provided in all cities of the county, in several smaller towns, and sometimes in homes. Our goal is to be a modern outpatient care where teamwork and the needs of patients are at the center.

Rödeby healthcare center is one of the public healthcare centers included in the health choice Blekinge. At the healthcare center, we have over 25 wonderful employees from various professions working together to meet our 6,600 registered patients. At Rödeby healthcare center, we have moved away from hierarchical structures and instead focus on meeting the needs of patients. About the Job

As a district nurse/nurse, you will have varied days with many different tasks. Advising via phone and digital channels, medical assessments and treatments, vaccinations, dressings, injections, and sample collections are just a few of the activities you will engage in during your days. You will have supportive colleagues who all care about community and a safe atmosphere. The position includes some shifts at the emergency center in Karlskrona, located at Wämö healthcare center. The emergency center is open weekdays from 5 PM to 9 PM and weekends from 10 AM to 7 PM.

The position is a summer temporary position with the possibility of extension.

About You

We are looking for a licensed nurse/district nurse. Previous experience in primary care is an advantage.

You love working as a nurse and are passionate about providing good care and helping people. You are unpretentious and appreciate working in a team. Security in your work role as well as a good ability to take initiative and make independent decisions are important for you to thrive in the position. With us, you are an important part of the whole where we together develop a well-functioning team.
